Many find this to be a positive adjective when describing
someone. Not me. Ever since I was young, when the word “charming” was used to
describe someone, it gave me an internal cringe. I picture a person that
is sneaky… a snake, if you will. A person that is incredibly good with people
and they use this skill to weasel their way in and out of situations. A little
American Psycho-ish. When I meet someone that is super charming, I tend to distrust them before I trust them.
Anyone else get this feeling?
